Sleep Apnea Surgery: How a Life is Changed

Below is a testimonial from a patient one year after surgery for sleep apnea.

Today, January 27, 2010, marks the one-year anniversary of the surgery that you performed on me to correct a major sleep apnea condition with which I’d been suffering (and had become increasingly more serious) for the previous 8 years.

I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know that the operation was not just lifealtering for me…I truly believe that it was life saving. Despite the complexity of the many different procedures you performed that day...I realized instantly when I left the hospital (and every day since then) that my breathing (which had been very labored even when I was awake) had again become effortless…and my entire body felt a sense of “calming”. My high blood pressure condition has since become normal again and I not only have never again had an occurrence of sleep apnea, I don’t even snore anymore…amazing.
