DR. CRAIG RICHMAN Craig A. Richman received his B.A. in 1990 from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was named a Benjamin Franklin Scholar, and his M.D. from Emory University School of Medicine in 1994. He completed his surgical internship, residency, and chief residency in Otolaryngology at the University of Miami School of Medicine in 1999. He subsequently completed his fellowship in head and neck surgery at Rush University and Cook County Hospital in Chicago in June, 2000.Dr. Richman has been in private practice since 2000. He was chosen by his peers to serve as president of the Metro Atlanta Otolaryngology Society (2006-2007) and has been named a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. In 2006, Dr. Richman received the honor of admission as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Richman cares for adult and pediatric patients with disorders across the entire spectrum of the ear, nose, and throat specialty. He has particular interest and expertise in treating snoring and sleep apnea, thyroid and salivary gland disorders, swallowing and voice problems, nasal and sinus disorders, as well as pediatric ear and throat infections. He regularly volunteers his time speaking to middle-school students about the perils of smoking and chewing tobacco usage. An Atlanta native, Dr. Richman graduated from The Lovett School. He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is one of only 126 otolaryngologists in the United States to be board certified in the subspecialty of Sleep Medicine. |
